The CLS methods editor is very powerful and easy to use. One can add a compound, add a spectrum, or add a region to the method. One creates a CLS method for each compound using a series of standards for that compound. One can pick a number of small regions, large regions, or even overlapping regions for each compound. One picks a region by first displaying the spectrum of one of the standards. One can then using the cursor pick spectral regions that CLS will considered for the quantitation for that compound as shown in the screen shot below. One can also type in the regions of interest as well.
One can manually input the temperature, pressure, pathlength, and concentration for each standard spectrum.
